Support to the YES campaign

↗︎
Pride By Side supports the YES campaign for a constitutionally enshrined Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice. We call on our network to VOTE YES in the upcoming referendum on 14 October to contribute towards building a better, more inclusive, and equitable future for all Australians.

Update

IDAHOBIT 2023

↗︎
#IDAHOBIT isn't just a day to be proud of who we are. It's also a reminder of the role that sharing stories and narratives have in helping people understand our experiences as queer people: Our joys, our losses, our struggles, our triumphs, our aspirations, and our realities. It was a pleasure to be invited by Sonder to talk about LGBTIQ+ issues—particularly within the context of wellbeing.

Update

2026 Australian Census Submission

↗︎
Pride by Side made its case on behalf of LGBTIQ+ initiatives to the Australian Bureau of Statistics for inclusion and improvement in the 2026 National Census. The submission advocates for better data so that we know who we are, where we are, how we live, and what we need in order to design and deliver services, and measure progress. Good data tells powerful, rich stories about communities, and LGBTIQ+ people are missing from this data.
